Joshua Hendriks is an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College where he graduated with bachelor’s degree in political science. After graduation, Joshua first worked for his local Massachusetts State Representative as field director for the Representative’s reelection campaign, where he gained firsthand experience with grassroots campaign strategy and techniques.

Following the successful reelection campaign, Joshua supported the State Representative in the Massachusetts State Legislature as a legislative aide in the general court. As a legislative aide, Joshua’s primary focus was constituent services, where he assisted individuals navigate the complex mechanisms of state government to achieve results. During this time, he also learned how to build successful partnerships with stakeholders at various levels of government.
Joshua then took the opportunity to support a Massachusetts State Senator as his communications director. As communications director, Joshua oversaw inter-office communication and social media content creation for the State Senator’s office. Additionally in this capacity, he honed his skills for legislative research and writing policy briefs while continuing to build upon his foundation of creating successful partnerships.

Outside of his professional life, Joshua is an avid cinephile and fan of the Grateful Dead. When he is not watching a film or workshopping an idea for a screenplay, Joshua also enjoys studying history and modern conflicts.
